It’s funny that I see this exact same argument repeated frequently, regardless of which political leanings the forums I’m reading take.

There are bad actors out there seeking to torment good people until they snap and actually internalize the idea that behaving poorly, deliberately, is a good idea. They don’t care one bit what you believe, only that they don’t like you and want you to hurt yourself.
